I have an inground pool. I plan to drain it to get a new liner. How long can I leave the pool empty?

I have an in-ground pool. I plan to drain it to take measurements. It may take some time before I get a new liner. How long can I leave the pool empty before the walls cave in?

I have seen the bottom pop out of them from rain and water pressure, freezing, etc. Please call a local pool company for advice it can be a costly mistake…

they shouldn’t cave in if the ground is not frozen? ask pool expert….
